ÖZLEM DALTABAN
She is the Founding Partner and Producer of DOT Theatre İstanbul, founded in 2005.
She founded “Dot Arts and Theatre Company” base in Edinburgh, in 2017.
She works on theatre productions, art works and art and design consultancy within the
Company.
She has produced many plays between 2005-2020 under DOT Theatre and was responsible
of the management of the staging in their own venue.
She has done Rhinoceros, a co-production between DOT Theatre, Edinburgh Royal Lyceum
Theatre and Edinburgh International Festival. Rhinoceros returned to Lyceum Theatre for
the Spring Season 17/18 and has been awarded with the “Best Production” prize at the
Critics’ Awards for Theatre in Scotland (CATS).
She is working as the producer for DOT in Denise Mina’s Brecht adaptation of “Mrs. Puntila
and Her Man Matti” that will be staged in Edinburgh as a co-production between the Royal
Lyceum Theatre and Citizens Theatre in association with DOT Theatre in February 2020 and
in Glasgow Citizens Theatre in March 2020.
She is married to the founding partner and art director of DOT, Murat Daltaban.
They have a son, Arda Daltaban, 16 years of age.
